Some cheeky arsehole has gone and put Richie "featch" Jackson's latest video part from "Better Than Life" on the bloody internet. Do yourself a favour and don't be stupid enough to watch it in a little pixelated box on youtube. Get yourself to a skateshop and buy the whole DVD and enjoy it fullscreen. If you are tempted, just watch this other fine part from the man himself.

Wonderful Weekend In Harlow Town
I thought I'd share a few photos from my lovely weekend in Harlow.
Nicolson has gone and got himself one of them sequence machines. Here he is getting arty at the paddling pool.
What started off as a chilled skate turned into some sort of hard picture getting/camera club type thing. Dibbles got one of them digital cameras too. Here he shoots Mark's front blunt.
Checking the goods.
After that we went to Motel 6 skateshop to warm ourselves. I'm not sure what's going on here.
We partied at Kev Mo G's that night.
The next day we went to Dunmow skatepark. Here are a few snaps that I stole without Nicolson's permission. I hope he doesn't get mad. (click on them so they do stuff)
Noseslide bigspin.

One foot pivot fakie
Fs smith grind for the ladies (dibble photography)
Monk the impaler, blunt to back D
All in all a rad weekend. Thanks to Monk for letting me sleep on his floor and to Mark for being dope.
Colourful Cates
Experiencing withdrawal symptoms from not seeing enough Dan Cates footage recently? No? Thought not. Well, tough titties, because here is his section from the "Escape From Boredom" DVD anyway, and proof that there is still a market for coloured griptape.

Crossfire Xmas Jam
Plenty of Death team and Death Urethane team riders were in attendance at this year's Crossfire Xmas Jam including Carl Wilson and Aaron Sweeney who received special mentions for rippingness of the highest order. Far too much information for me to duplicate on this blog so take a look here for the full report.

Sydney Life
Owner of a mean frontside flip and all round good lad Troy West has got himself a new website. Expect photos of all your favourite Sydney lads, hot chicks, crackheads and regular SCHOONER updates. Seeing is believing.

Save Harrow Skatepark
One of the oldest concrete skateparks in the UK is under threat of closure as the nearby leisure centre is to be re-located and more housing is to be built.
The park has spawned countless top UK skaters over the years and would be missed by so many people, including Sidewalk magazine's most recent cover skater!
Do your bit to save the park by clicking here and signing the petition.

Zac's Not Slack
Once again, the Crossfire website has their big golden finger on the pulse (Zac assured me it was a finger). You should bookmark their site and visit it regularly as they'll keep you well up to date with the most important UK skate news. They also mentioned this humble little blog page without me asking them to. Honest.

Santa Cates
Congratulations to Death Pro Dan Cates for getting the cover of this month's Sidewalk magazine (issue 135)!
It's a truly amazing photo of him dressed as Santa Claus doing a 5-0 on his longboard in Harrow skatepark's beautifully painted pool. Dan and Sidewalk photographer Styley painstakingly painted the pool to resemble a snowman late that night and I think it turned out perfectly. I had no doubt this would make the cover though after Styley sent me the picture a while back. I could have saved all that typing by saying "look at the picture below and click it for a larger view" couldn't I!
Check Styley's website here for more great skate shots.

Crossfire Xmas Jam 2007
As is usual for a Crossfire hosted event, this year's Xmas jam was packed and full of mental skateboarding action. Watch the edit below and count the number of Death team riders and Death Urethane team riders involved in making the event another one to remember.

Old Dean Palmer Section
Youtube makes my life easy sometimes. Here's an old looking section of Dean Palmer that I found.
I think we should start a "buy a filming board for Dean's mates" charity fund as some of the running along follow filming made me a bit sea-sick.

Oh, and Dean, Mike Carroll one upped your bluntslide on that brick bank thingy in Fully Flared.

What Are You Trying To Say Mate?
Another Sidewalk forum stalwart is James Brewer and he was bored today. Not wanting the devil to make work for his idle hands, he done gone and made a new logo for you to click on to link to the Death Skateboards myspace page. It's over on the right somewhere. See if your eyes can locate it. He ever so cleverly called it "Deathspace: a place for cunts". Seems he knows the boys well then eh! Maybe it's fighting talk though and I know who my money's on between the wimpy Death team and the ever so heterosexual Gnargore boys.

Wicked
Death Skateboards has even been entered into the depths of the sometimes not too accurate online encyclopedia that is Wikipedia. Click the mouse on this.
Their Space
Horsey had a bit of a coding malfunction last week and destroyed the Death Skateboards myspace page layout whilst trying to embed the Big Push video clip. Everything is running smoothly again now though and all with a snazzy Richie Jackson inspired background layout. Click the myspace image in the right hand menu bar to leave comments and abuse.

The Last UK Premiere
Unless you're going to be holding a premiere of "Better Than Life" in your front room with your mates and lots of cups of tea once the DVD is purchased (highly recommended), yesterday was the last chance to attend a premiere of Death skateboards' latest visual offering. It was held at The Boardroom Skatepark and was attended by some of the Death team.
Sidewalk messageboard stalwart "spt" has some photos up on the Blog And Die page so skip on over and take a look at them.
